What are the grocery stores in Wilmington NC
A grocery chain with the most locations of any other in the Wilmington area is making upgrades.
On Wednesday, Aug. 30, Food Lion will unveil a new easier shopping experience for customers at several stores in the Wilmington area, according to a news release from the company.
Food Lion renovated and refreshed its look, marking the completion of more than $50 million investment in the Wilmington market. Store upgrades include an extensive product assortment, including fresh produce, quality meats and more.
There will be a ribbon-cutting ceremony for the three newly remodeled stores in the Wilmington area at 7:45 a.m. Afterwards, the first 100 customers in line will receive a mystery gift card valued up to $250, free reusable shopping bag and a trunk organizer.
If you don't have a Food Lion near you, here's a list of more than 40 grocery stores, including "mom and pop" stores, African and Caribbean, and Mexican and Hispanic stores serving the Wilmington area.
